Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Energy, which is all around us & is used by many people all over the world. It is a non-intrusive treatment, which is gentle & powerful at the same time.Clients may experience intense heat, tingling, coolness, pulsing or other sensations - others may feel nothing but all say they experienced a great sense of well-being & relaxation whilst some fall asleep.
Healing is possible at any level of being: physical, mental, or emotional. Acute injuries can be helped to heal quickly but more chronic conditions take longer. In some cases such as terminal illness, there is not enough time for the progress of the disease to be reversed. However, in such cases it can be beneficial & will enhance the quality of life giving a sense of peace & acceptance during the time remaining. Reiki supports all forms of treatment both orthodox & complementary.
